Venice
A few years ago I took a trip to Venice with a few close friends. I haven't been active blogging for a long time but I'm excited to get back into it. Venice is such an amazing city, filled with culture and art and it was the perfect holiday, even though it was nearly 40 degrees. I feel like I could never take enough photos to capture the real city but these are some of my favorites. Seeing Damien Hurst's exhibit, Treasures from the wreck of the Unbelievable, was the highlight of my week. Split across two museums due to the vast size of the collection, the exhibit had an imense structure. Although all of the pieces were created seperately you could see how different influences came together to form a smooth transition from piece to piece. Simple silhouettes around the museum were the perfect focal point when looking for inspiration.
